SCHOOL DISTRICT BUDGET STATEMENT

FOR THE 2011-2012 SCHOOL YEAR

NOTICE is hereby given to the legal voters of Holland Township School District, in the County of Hunterdon, State of New Jersey, that a board of education meeting will be held in the Holland Township School, 714 Milford-Warren Glen Road, Milford, NJ at 7:30pm, March 23, 2011 for the purpose of conducting a public hearing on the Budget for the 2011-2012 School Year. This meeting is open to the public and action will be taken.

The Holland Township School District has proposed programs and services in addition to the Core Curriculum Content Standards adopted by the State Board of Education. Information on this budget and the programs and services it provides is available from the Holland Township School District. The budget will be available for examination by the public, in the office of the Business Administrator, at the Holland Township School.

SPECIAL BOARD MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Holland Township Board of Education will hold a special budget meeting on Wednesday, February 16th, 2011 at 7:00 pm to discuss and develop the preliminary 2011-2012 school budget and any other items that may come before the board. The meeting will be conducted in the main auditorium of the Holland Township School, 714 Milford Warren Glen Road, Milford, NJ unless posted otherwise. Meetings are open to the public and action may taken.

The Holland Township School District is currently taking applications and deposits for September 2011 enrollment in our 3- & 4-year old programs. The required deposit of $200.00 will be applied towards the last month’s tuition.

WHEN: Two sessions: 2 ½ hours each, 5 days per week: AM: 8:15-10:45 OR

PM: 12:20- 2:50

WHERE: Holland Township Elementary School, Pre-school classroom

CURRICULUM: High Scope Curriculum. It is one of the research-based curricula   promoted by the NJ DOE Office of Early Childhood Education due to its proven results in promoting literacy, thinking, and self-regulation skills.

COST: Tuition is $200.00 per month/$2,000 per year. Transportation is provided by the parents.

REGISTRATION: beginning February, 2011 with spaces in both the AM and PM sessions.
